The Purpose

Chemical use in conventional farming has gotten out of control! 
The poisoning of the earth can not continue forever with no negative consequences on all Earth’s Kingdoms – human, plant, animal, bird, soil, insect, bacterial, etc.  Already we are seeing negative results in (to name a few):

• Increased cancer rates
• Increased obesity
• Increased diabetes
• Increased  food sensitivities (example: increase in celiac disease)
• Hormonal upsets in children – early development of puberty
• Increased reproductive problems
• Increased birth defects
• Less numbers and diversity in bird and bee populations

The purpose of this website / blog is to share and document all I have learnt over the past year, what I continue to learn, and what I’m doing.  The hope is that others will learn from this research, and, coupled with Rusk Ranch successes and failures, will take a leap of faith in transforming their operations (whole or parts) to organic methods where Mother Nature leads the way.  I am willing to do whatever I can to help, because at the end of the day, we can all lead happy healthier lives instead of destroying ourselves.  Everyone wins!!
